fotoTerni is set at the confluence of the Nera and Serra rivers and is especially famous for its iron and steel industries but it also has a rich and eventful history. One of its main attractions is the spectacular Marmore Waterfall, artificially created by the Romans about 300 years before Christ. Places of interest are: the Church of St. francis with the Paradisi Chapel frescoed in the 15th century with episodes from the Divine Comedy and St. Valentine’s Shrine with the mortal remains of the Patron Saint of people in love.
